Challenge
Two concurrent work fronts had to run on an active mine site village, managing night shift noise, exclusion zones, traffic management, and Section 44 heritage compliance.
Approach
Benang ran both work fronts with service location, exclusion zone controls, and traffic management in place, engaging residents and stakeholders throughout to keep night shift noise to a minimum.
Outcome
The upgrade was completed with a peak crew of 12 and 65 per cent Aboriginal participation, the highest across Benang's project portfolio, with zero lost time injuries and zero environmental incidents.
