Much of this work has been delivered alongside TCD Civil Construction, including an ongoing TCD Civil and Dewatering program and the Solomon Data Centre build. Because our crews carry water, power, gas and mechanical trades in one team, civil, structural and electrical scope is managed inside a single Benang crew rather than across a chain of subcontractors.
Working on Country in the Pilbara also means working through heritage and land access requirements, including Section 44 compliance processes, before a shovel goes into the ground. Aboriginal participation has reached up to 65 per cent on some Pilbara projects, the highest in Benang's portfolio.
