Challenge
The Melville reservoir site needed a full remediation spanning several disciplines at once, from earthworks and drainage through to structural, electrical and fencing works.
Approach
Benang self-performed the detailed bulk earthworks, the drainage and concrete works, the decommissioning of redundant pipelines, the structural building works, the electrical works and the security fencing, sequencing the trades across the site with a peak crew of twenty five.
Outcome
The remediation was completed across December 2021 to June 2022 with no lost time injuries and no environmental incidents.
