Fortescue's process service conditions demand carbon steel piping with verified protective coatings inside and out, backed by independent weld and pressure testing.
Approach
Benang fabricated the carbon steel pipe spools to client specifications and applied an internal C18 Epoxy Novolac lining to provide enhanced corrosion resistance for demanding process service, finishing the spools with protective external coatings.
Outcome
All welding was independently verified through NATA-certified non-destructive testing and the completed spools were NATA-certified hydrostatically tested before delivery, ensuring full compliance with the project's quality and performance requirements.
