Challenge
Copper nickel pressure piping demands qualified welding and tight dimensional control, with every spool verified against project specifications before it leaves the workshop.
Approach
Benang fabricated the CuNi pipe spools in its Bibra Lake workshop, welding in accordance with ASME Section IX qualification requirements and engaging an independent third party to dimensionally survey the completed spools against the project specifications.
Outcome
All welds passed NATA-certified non-destructive testing and the completed assemblies were NATA-certified hydrostatically tested prior to delivery, giving the client a fully compliant, quality-assured package.
