Benang delivered a complete fabrication package for Beach Energy: pressure piping to AS 4041, structural steel to AS 5131, painted and untreated pipe spools, third-party dimensional surveying, NATA-certified testing and hot-dip galvanising to AS 4680.

Challenge
The package combined pressure piping and structural steel under separate Australian Standards, with every fabricated spool required to hold project tolerances verified by an independent inspector.
Approach
Benang manufactured the pressure piping to AS 4041 and fabricated the structural steel in accordance with AS 5131, delivering both painted and untreated pipe spools, with all fabricated spools independently dimensionally surveyed by a third-party inspection provider.
Outcome
All welding passed NATA-certified non-destructive testing, completed piping assemblies were NATA-certified hydrostatically tested prior to delivery, and structural steel components were hot-dip galvanised to AS 4680 for long-term corrosion protection.
