Challenge
Duplex and super duplex pressure piping demands qualified welding and carefully controlled surface treatment to preserve corrosion resistance, delivered here as a complete package spanning piping, structural steel and associated supply items.
Approach
Benang welded the pressure piping in compliance with ASME IX, internally coated, pickled and passivated the pipe spools to maximise corrosion resistance, finished the structural steel supports to the client's coating specification, and supplied the associated fasteners, PTFE components and rubber products.
Outcome
NATA-certified non-destructive testing, NATA-certified hydrostatic testing and independent third-party dimensional surveying verified the fabrication, and the client received a complete, ready-for-installation package.
