North Lake Grace Tanker Fill Point

Benang built a new tanker fill point for Water Corporation at North Lake Grace, delivering the civil works, stormwater drainage, access track, trafficable service pits and fencing for the water cart filling facility.

Challenge
Water Corporation needed its North Lake Grace tank cart point replaced and upgraded, combining civil construction, drainage and fabricated works on a regional site to a fixed completion date.
Approach
Benang located and protected the existing assets, set out the works, and constructed the tanker fill points, around 20 metres of DN450 reinforced concrete stormwater drainage, an unsealed access track, two Class D trafficable service pits and the fencing, including metal fabrication and welding works.
Outcome
The upgraded tanker fill point was delivered for Water Corporation with the drainage, access, service pits and fencing complete, and the site reinstated with an as-constructed survey.
